"The Corelli School is to take all steps to develop excellence in the performing and visual arts, combined with academic achievement, in a select group of young people."
Below are excerpts of the school’s Terms and Conditions, pertinent to newly enrolling pupils. Please read carefully. If you require the more comprehensive Terms and Conditions, please contact the school office.
An enrolment fee of $450.00 per pupil is payable on confirmation from the Corelli School of acceptance for tuition. This is an Administration fee and is non-refundable.
A bond of $2,500.00 is payable one month prior to commencement of tuition. This bond will be refunded in full on completion of a pupil’s tuition at the Corelli School less any outstanding fees or amounts owing from damage to School property/resources or library books not returned. The bond is non-interest bearing.
Written notice is required to withdraw a pupil from the Corelli School. At least one full term in advance of the withdrawal of the pupil, or pay a fee equivalent to a full term’s fees. Below are the cut-off dates for appropriate notice to be given.
In the case of new pupils, the cut-off date, for intention to withdraw a pupil from the next term, will be extended by one month, (e.g. if your child starts in Term 3 and you wish to withdraw your child for the following term, the last day for appropriate notice to be given will be the 15thAugust, etc.)
In the event that a pupil is withdrawn from the Corelli School during a term, a pro-rata refund of term fees will be made provided one term’s notice (at least 12 weeks) of intention to withdraw is given. The refund will be made on the basis of the availed time spent at Corelli, plus one month being deducted from the total term fee. (For International Students, please refer to the refund section in the International Handbook.)
There is a *10% discount scheme for payment of fees one month prior to the start of each term. (Notification of exact dates to receive discounts is printed on individual invoices.) All fees not paid by these specified dates must be paid by the first day of the new term. Please note that this does not apply to International Students’ fees, due to the fact that international students must pay for a minimum of two terms in advance for Visa requirements. Therefore, a discount has been taken into account initially, when determining international fee rates.
The school reserves the right to charge 2% interest per month on overdue accounts. After week four (4) of any term, if fees remain outstanding, the school reserves the right to terminate tuition. In cases involving the school’s debt collection agency, the agency’s recovery charges will be added to any outstanding invoices that are 90 days overdue.
A *sibling discount also applies, i.e. 5% if you have two enrolled children and 7.5% for three or more children enrolled. Please note that this only applies if ALL siblings are FULL fee paying.
All pupils enrolled at the school must abide by the school rules, which have been set in place to safeguard the interests of both pupils and staff.
*Please note that scholarships awarded for $2,000.00 or more do not qualify for any additional discounts. (This includes sibling discounts.)
