Corelli Visual Arts Achievements 2010

New Zealand Young Designers Awards 2010:

Congratulations to our 6 entrants in this year’s National Young Designers. They achieved the following:

• Cameron Middleton (Year 7) - Highly Commended, Junior (years 7-8), Fashion Design - Costume, cultural, wearable art.
• Young Bi Yoo (Year 7) - First Place Junior (years 7-8), Visual Arts Design - Sculpture.
• Felix Garcia (Year 8) - First Place Junior (years 7-8), Visual Arts Design- Drawing and Painting.
• Dion Hsu (Year 9) - Third PlaceIntermediate (years 9, 10 & 11), Visual Arts Design - Drawing and Painting.
• Jonah Hall (Year 11) - Second Place Intermediate (years 9,10 &11), Fashion Design - Costume, cultural, wearable art.
• Anna Bensky (Year 13) - First Place Senior (years 12-13), Visual Arts Design - sculpture.

This is an astounding result for such a small school and a huge thank you to Mrs Zatta for her encouragement, inspiration and support. Well done everybody! 

Corelli Visual Arts Achievements 2009

Fantastic news: For a small school, we have done incredibly well in the New Zealand Young Designers Awards. Our 5 finalists achieved the following:

Congratulations to Felix and Dion who came 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Junior Visual Arts section; to Harriet Selfe, who came 4th in the Intermediate Wearable Art Section; to Michelle Casey, who came 6th in the Adornment section; and to Anna Bensky who came 6th in the Senior Visual Arts section.

We are very proud of you all, and none more so than your fabulous Art teacher, Mrs Zatta!!! Well done!!
